LOMA Systems to present latest X-ray and Metal Detection Innovations at PPMA Total 2025

19 Aug 2025

LOMA Systems will return to the NEC for PPMA Total 2025 to showcase its latest advancements in inspection technologies and online training. Taking place from 23-25 September, the exhibition marks the UK show debut of the X5DE Space Saver Dual Energy X-ray inspection system and IQ4M RUN-WET® metal detector - two new innovations designed to improve product safety, quality assurance and operational efficiency.

As a leading global manufacturer of inspection systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries, LOMA will exhibit on Stand E14, reaffirming its position as a key supplier of metal detection, X-ray inspection, checkweighing and combination systems. The focus will be on the X5DE Space Saver, LOMA’s advanced dual energy X-ray solution designed to detect hard-to-find contaminants in challenging applications, including overlapping and high-density products.

Also making its UK debut is the IQ4M RUN-WET® metal detector, featuring variable frequency and multi-spectrum detection technologies. Engineered for seamless integration within conveyor systems or production lines, the IQ4M offers improved sensitivity and flexibility for manufacturers seeking greater control and compliance.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to explore the X5 Pipeline system, which provides reliable contaminant detection in pumped and free-flowing products.

Alongside showcasing equipment, LOMA will use the show to promote and provide live demonstrations of its new LOMA® Online Training Academy - a virtual platform designed as a practical solution for staff needing upskilling, plus ensuring compliance requirements are met. The Academy emphasises LOMA’s commitment to excellent service and customer support, equipping customers with the tools and skills they need to optimise system performance and minimise downtime.

This is an important UK event for LOMA,” said Ralph Mbanefo, International Sales & Service Director. Having launched the X5DE and IQ4M earlier this year at IFFA, we’re excited to bring these technologies to PPMA. UK manufacturers can learn more about the in-field performance benefits we’ve delivered and discuss their projects with us directly. Alongside this, we’re continuing to invest in our customer service offering through programs like the Online Training Academy, demonstrating that we’re not just a supplier, but a true partner.”

“LOMA’s presence at PPMA Total 2025 supports our wider Customer Business Innovation (CBI) drive, where we place customer needs at the centre of our product development, service delivery and training strategy,” added Samantha Neves, Global Marketing Director.
