Remote Test System
Faster Performance Checks
Manual testing can be time-consuming, particularly where operators need to access equipment at height or interrupt production to introduce test samples.
With the Remote Test System, operators can initiate a controlled test cycle from a conveniently positioned control unit, helping to reduce labour time, improve productivity and return more time to production.
Significant Cost Savings
The time saved using the Remote Test System immediately translates into a significant cost benefit to the user. Calculated using conservative operator costs, a minimum saving of $2,500* per year is anticipated, scaling rapidly to over $6,000* for heavy duty sites.
*Figures based on EU minimum wage with an average test time of 10 mins.
Safer Routine Testing
The Remote Test System helps reduce the need for operators to physically access elevated, enclosed or hard-to-reach metal detectors during routine performance testing.
By allowing tests to be initiated remotely, the system helps minimise working-at-height and awkward-access risks, supporting safer day-to-day operation on busy production lines.
Consistent and Repeatable Testing
The Remote Test System uses a controlled pneumatic process to introduce a calibrated contaminant pellet into the detection zone.
This helps reduce variation caused by manual test-piece handling, supporting more consistent routine performance checks and reducing operator dependency.
Flexible Control Enclosure Location
The Remote Test System control enclosure allows operators to initiate production tests immediately from when required.
The control enclosure can be installed up to 15 metres from the pneumatic control module, giving production teams greater flexibility when positioning controls in safe and convenient locations.
Supports Audit Confidence
By helping operators carry out routine checks in a consistent and repeatable way, the Remote Test System supports stronger process control and clearer documentation for food safety and quality audits.
