Loma attend IPPE 2014 Awards

16 Dec 2013

Loma Systems announce they will be attending the 2014 International Production and Processing (IPPE) Expo. The tradeshow is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, January 28 - 30, 2014. Loma Systems and Lock Inspection can be found at booth #5726.

“The IPPE Expo is North America’s premier tradeshow for the meat and poultry industries and we’re excited to showcase the toughest inspection systems on the market,” said Laura Studwell, Marketing Manager North America. “Our systems are designed to deliver maximum uptime in round-the-clock, harsh wash down environments and meet AMI’s strict specifications for durability and hygiene. In addition to the IQ3+ PipeLine metal detector and the award-winning QuickShip Flex™ conveyor system, this will be the first time we showcase our nextgeneration x-ray system, the X5, to this market.”

The new X5 x-ray inspection system is engineered for heavy-duty environments such as the meat and poultry industries. Rounded surfaces ensure contaminants cannot accumulate. A tubular framework is easy to clean and robust enough to withstand the rigors of harsh wash down environments. Impermeable seals added to the x-ray cabinet prevent water ingress and the new quick release mechanism allows the conveyor belt to be changed within a few minutes. Market-leading Adaptive Array Technology (AAT) eliminates the need to specify the diode array pixel size and will automatically adjust from 0.4mm, 0.8mm and 1.6mm to provide up to 25% better detection performance.

Along with the next-generation X5 x-ray system, Loma Systems and Lock Inspection will feature a sampling from their rugged construction product line-up of inspection systems. At booth #5726, visitors can interact with the trademarked, award-winning QuickShip Flex™ conveyor system as well as a favorite of the meat and poultry industries, the IQ3+ PipeLine metal detector.

The IPPE Expo presents the meat and poultry industries’ best product and solution technologies. IPPE will bring together over 25,000 processing professionals from all over the world and more than 1,100 exhibitors to connect on the latest in technology, equipment, supplies and services. “We attend this expo every year and it provides us with an opportunity to highlight the principle on which our systems are built, which is designed to survive,” states Studwell. Both Loma Systems and Lock Inspection are long-standing members of the American Meat Institute (AMI), a trade association and one of the three producers of the IPPE Expo.

“To reinforce this year’s theme, ‘Are you saving for the future of your brand?’ booth #5726 will give away miniature piggy banks. We invite you to stop by and learn how you can start saving for the future of your brand with metal detection, checkweighing and x-ray inspection systems.

You can read more information about the next-generation X5 x-ray inspection system pre-show in The National Provisioner Magazine as well as during the tradeshow in the daily publications.
