Loma System's has been named a National Champion for United Kingdom in The European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM; Europe’s largest business competition set up to celebrate business excellence and best practice in the European business community. 

At the inaugural Iceland Fishing Expo held recently in Reykjavik, the President of Iceland, Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, and Minister of Fisheries & Agriculture, Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson, visited distributor, Eltak Ltd’s stand where they learned how Loma’s X5c X-ray inspection system can help fish processors identify contaminants such as *bones, shell fragments and grit. 

In a key move designed to support continued growth and maintain its industry beating first time fix rates and response times, Loma Systems has restructured its UK nationwide field service team. 

Loma Systems will be displaying its ground-breaking X5c (Compact) X-ray inspection unit at this year’s PPMA Total Show. The exhibit will also have an ‘Ask the Expert’ theme with the company’s metal detection, checkweighing and X-ray technical specialists available to address questions pertinent to global food processors, manufacturers and packers. 

In a move aimed at further driving forward innovation and productivity, Loma Systems a leading manufacturer of in-line metal detection, checkweighing and x-ray inspection equipment for the global food industry – has established a Technical Centre of Excellence located in Denton, Manchester, UK. Now fully operational, the flagship technical centre is at the forefront of Loma’s drive to develop high performance inspection technology for major food manufacturers, processors and packers.

Loma will be showing a range of hygienic X-ray models ideal for meat products including slurries, diced, bulk and chopped meat.

Loma Systems has launched an innovative biometric Finger Print Access Device to offer Quality & Technical Managers greater security while using Loma metal detector combination machines.
