LOMA SYSTEMS TO SHOWCASE ADVANCED INSPECTION SOLUTIONS AT CFIA 2026 IN RENNES FRANCE

29 Jan 2026

Loma Systems, a global leader in inspection technologies for food quality and safety, will be exhibiting at CFIA 2026, taking place from 10-12 March 2026 at Parc Expo Rennes, France. On Stand 10-H61, the LOMA team will demonstrate its latest metal detection, X-ray inspection and checkweighing solutions, designed to help food manufacturers across France improve product safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

As a trusted partner to the French food industry, LOMA continues to invest in innovation and local support, backed by its global expertise and a comprehensive service and training capability. CFIA 2026 provides an ideal platform to meet customers, showcase new technologies and demonstrate how its solutions meet the evolving needs of modern production environments across France.

Among the highlights on stand will be the newly enhanced X5C, Loma’s compact X-ray solution. It now offers improved usability and performance, delivering faster line speeds of up to 70m per min for higher throughput and a new 10.1” widescreen interface for a more intuitive user experience. With its compressed footprint, the X5C X-ray is ideal for operations where space and cost efficiency are key considerations, particularly for the inspection of retail packaged convenience foods, ready meals and small packaged goods, including foil trays or metallised film.

The X5C features quick-release, tool-free curtains for fast, easy maintenance and cleaning. In addition to reliable contaminant detection, this compact X-ray system also performs product integrity checks, helping deliver added quality assurance and safety confidence.

Visitors can also discover the X5DE Space Saver X-ray system featuring Dual Energy at CFIA. Developed as part of LOMA’s continued commitment to customer-backed innovation, this high-performance X-ray solution delivers superior contaminant detection performance that can be integrated into line with optional freestanding reject. With Dual Energy detection and multi-level algorithms, it recognises hard-to-find, low-density contaminants in a wide range of products, minimising false rejects and providing reliable product integrity checks.

On display from Loma’s combination solutions will be the newly improved CW3 RUN-WET® Combo, a checkweigher and metal detector combination system that is tested to IP69 ingress rating standards and designed using EHEDG guidelines, for easier cleaning and greater reliability in harsh washdown environments. For secure data management, it also supports RFID access and OPC-UA connectivity, enhancing security and traceability and keeping your factory secure

As part of the line-up, the IQ4M metal detector combines variable-frequency and multi-spectrum detection technologies to deliver high sensitivity across a wide range of products, including high-iron, high-salt and high-moisture foods. It is particularly effective on fresh products, which generate stronger signals that can challenge conventional systems and cause false rejects. By reducing these false rejects, the IQ4M addresses a key challenge in detection faced by customers using conventional metal detection systems. Finally, on the stand will be the IQ4H Pipeline for pumped and free-flowing products such as soups, sauces, slurries and dairy applications.

“We warmly invite customers to visit the LOMA stand each day between 9am and 10am for a guided tour of our inspection technologies and to discuss how we can best meet their specific food safety and quality requirements,” said Ruud Gruijters, European Sales & Service Director at LOMA Systems. “This approach reflects our continued investment in customer support across France, including our recent relocation to larger premises in Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire. The new facility expands our capabilities for product testing, customer training and demonstrations, while the appointment of Zakaria Gasmi as Sales Engineer for Northern France further strengthens our local sales and customer support.”
