LOMA SYSTEMS® TO SHOWCASE LATEST INSPECTION INNOVATIONS AT PACK EXPO INTERNATIONAL 2026

With a broad range of inspection technologies on display, Loma will use the show to help manufacturers identify the right solution for their individual products, applications and production environments. Visitors will also have the opportunity for one-to-one discussions with Loma’s inspection experts and are invited to share their own production challenges and feedback to help inform future product innovation.

Making its PACK EXPO debut will be the new Remote Test System (RTS), developed to simplify routine performance testing of high-speed Vertical Fall and Waferthin metal detection systems. Instead of requiring operators to manually introduce test samples into equipment that may be elevated or difficult to access, the Remote Test System enables a controlled test cycle to be initiated remotely. A complete three-metal test can typically be carried out in less than 30 seconds, helping manufacturers reduce manual intervention and testing time while improving safety, consistency and repeatability.

Also new on the booth will be the CW3 RUN-WET® Checkweigher, designed specifically for high-care food environments and harsh, high-pressure cleaning regimes. Tested to IP69 standards, the latest RUN-WET design incorporates an easier-to-clean frame with fewer potential contaminant traps, helping improve hygiene and reliability. With no drying time required following washdown, manufacturers can restart production immediately, supporting greater uptime and productivity.

Other booth highlights include Loma’s IQ4M Metal Detector, which combines Multi-Spectrum and Variable Frequency technologies to enhance contaminant detection across challenging applications while helping to reduce false positives. The system also incorporates RFID security and OPC-UA connectivity, supporting improved data integrity and integration with wider factory systems.

For manufacturers considering X-ray inspection, the company will demonstrate the X5DE Space Saver, its Dual Energy X-ray system developed for complex and mixed-density products where contaminants can be particularly difficult to identify. Combining Dual Energy technology with multi-level algorithms, the X5DE delivers enhanced detection performance while helping to minimise false rejects, alongside a low total cost of ownership and reduced maintenance requirements.

Completing the display will be a range of Loma inspection solutions demonstrating the breadth of applications supported by the company, including IQ4 Waferthin and IQ4 Vertical Fall metal detectors, together with the X5 4-inch Pipeline and X5 PACK Curtainless X-ray inspection systems.
