Position: Sales Engineer (End of line inspection machinery, metal detectors, x-ray and check-weighers)
Location: UK – South East
Loma Systems are part of the ITW Group of Companies and a market leader in end of line food inspection. Due to a vacancy we now seek a competent sales professional to maintain and develop new business on a well established area.
THE ROLE: You will be selling end of line food safety inspection equipment to a wide range of food manufacturers including many of the major food groups such as Northern Foods, Bakkavor and premier Brands. The successful candidate will need a background in selling a technical product into the food industry and ideally a good technical qualification.
The role will entail 50% account management of an established database and 50% new business development. You will be expected to produce accurate and clear quotations having investigated the customer requirements in terms of location of the machine and the range of product to be inspected. A full product training course will be provided.
Part of a 6 man sales team you will report back to the sales manager using the CRM package provided giving details of appointments, outcomes and producing monthly sales forecasts. You will also require good networking skills to communicate with other sales engineers, internal sales support team and engineering / production departments.
Basic Salary : TBA
On Target Commission - TBA
Company Car : Passat, Mondeo or similar.
